Established in 1981, Ohr Somayach of Canada today comprises two centers in Metro Toronto: the new community of Thornhill, adjacent to the Beth Avraham Yoseph Synagogue, and a center in Forest Hill. Each day of the week, the centers offer a range of courses and programs at different levels. They include early morning learning programs for business people, lectures, workshops, one-on-one tutorials, dynamic Shabbat and holiday seminars with home hospitality, guest lecturers from the Jerusalem branch, and the ever-popular summer and winter study and touring trips to Israel.
