And so, in what seemed to be a most democratic solution, they agreed that they were all right. In other words, if a starworshipper would visit the city of the sun worshipper he would pay homage to the sun deity and vice versa. Everyone felt quite content with this "open minded democracy." Everyone that is ... except the Jew.
He had different ideas altogether.
This "new" concept of God, was viewed by everyone as mankind's greatest spiritual achievement ... except of course, by those who were not Jewish ...
which was just about the whole world! |
