The JLE New York Office sponsors Rediscovering Judaism seminars that take place on the holidays of Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and Shavuot. Participants include men and women of all ages and backgrounds, and the programs combine a comprehensive introduction to Jewish studies, festive holiday meals and inspiring synagogue services in a beautiful resort setting in upstate New York.

A seminar features special beginners' prayer services which introduce the Shabbat and Holiday services for those unfamiliar with them. Discussions deal with the themes of each holiday as well as topics of general Jewish interest.

Since 1981, the seminars have given thousands of men and women a new recognition of the relevance of Judaism to their lives.
