JLE is a two-week winter experience like nothing else you have ever experienced! Our unique program gives Jewish men from diverse backgrounds and affiliations an opportunity to explore Israel and what it means to be Jewish. On JLE, you will engage in a vibrant excursion through contemporary and classical Jewish thought. Importantly, you will take this journey in a warm and open environment with top students from campuses all over world. JLE participants build lifelong friendships and become part of an exclusive alumni network.

The JLE is famous for its extensive touring program ranging from half day & full day expeditions around Jerusalem to 3 day tours up to the Golan, to the Galilee and down to the Negev. Even if you have been to Israel many times before, we at the JLE pride ourselves in showing you places and perspectives that you have NEVER seen before!

Your guides will be the best and brightest young campus rabbis who know how to bring Israel alive for you. The academic staff includes outstanding lecturers, authors, political analysts and thinkers of international renown. In addition to classroom learning, the JLE Israel Experience emphasizes personal interaction between faculty and students, enabling the participants to observe and experience the full richness of Jewish life.

Students qualifying for a scholarship can join the JLE for a total cost as low as $799* from NY. This includes room / board, flight and touring.

* The unsubsidized cost of the program is $3,000
