Ohr Somayach Los Angeles

The JLE of Los Angeles is centered in the second largest Jewish community in the world. Yet, it ranks number one in challenge, since metropolitan Los Angeles has one of the nation's lowest percentages of Jewish affiliation as measured by synagogue attendance and general Jewish activity.

The center is located in the heart of the Jewish community. A "user friendly" synagogue with beginners' services is one of its most popular features, with special programs every Shabbat, Sunday and Holidays.

The center offers weekly classes, Sunday seminars including topics such as Medical and Business Ethics, tutorial programs and private one-on-one learning sessions. Ohr Somayach's popular Summer and Winter in Israel Programs have attracted ever-increasing West Coast participants.
