Bonus Question In the word "Vayikra"(1:1) the letter "aleph" is written smaller than the other letters. Why? I Didn't Know That! Avraham said to G-d, "Master of the Universe, perhaps, Heaven forbid, the Jewish People will sin before You, and You will do to them what You did to the Generation of the Flood and the Generation of the Dispersion." G-d said to Avraham, "I have decreed for them the `Order of the Korbanos'. Whenever they read them [i.e., study them] I will consider it as if they brought the korbanos before me and I will forgive all of their sins." Bonus Question Question: In verse 39:33, the Torah states that the Jewish craftsmen brought to Moshe the completed but as yet unassembled parts of the Mishkan. Rashi learned from this verse that they were unable to erect it themselves. How does Rashi know this? Answer: Rashi knew that if the craftsmen had been able to assemble the Mishkan themselves they would have done so, since it is not the way of artisans to deliver their work unfinished. The only reason they would have brought the unassembled Mishkan to Moshe is because they were not able to erect it themselves.
