The Hebrew University of Jerusalem has been offering special academic programs to overseas students on
the historic Mount Scopus campus since 1955. The Rothberg International School's state of the art Louis H. Boyer Building opened last year in the center of the campus.
The Hebrew University of Jerusalem is a fully accredited and
internationally respected institute of higher learning. Over 24,000 students study at The Hebrew University's four campuses.
Students in the Maimonides Program In Israel will be able to participate
in accredited university courses and earn up to 17 academic credits which may be transferred to the student's home college or university.
Each semester at the Rothberg International School's Division of Undergraduate Studies consists of 12 full weeks of classes including final exams. Students will earn 3 credits for each 4 hour course.
Students will participate in three Hebrew University courses and are encouraged to participate in the intensive Hebrew Language course — the Ulpan. Students who complete course requirements will
receive 9 academic credits. The Ulpan takes place for five weeks before the beginning of the semester. Students who successfully complete the Ulpan are awarded a minimum of 8 additional credits.
